Your home dashboard

The screen you land on after signing in — recent fee sheets, recent reports, active clients, and one-click ways to start the next thing.

You sign in at 8am with four files in flight and no memory of which one you were in last. Home is built for exactly that minute: the last things you touched, in the order you touched them, one click away — plus the shortest route to starting the next one.

It's the first item in the sidebar, Home, and it's where signing in drops you.

The strip across the top

Four numbers, current as of right now:

  • Clients — how many clients you have in LendrTech.
  • Fee sheets this month — fee sheets you've worked on since the first of the month, with a +N this week line underneath when you've touched any since Monday. It counts activity, not creation: editing an older fee sheet brings it into this month's number.
  • Reports — every saved report across all three types, purchase, refinance and single-loan together.
  • Subscription — your plan, with a badge for its state and a Manage link straight to the Billing tab in Settings.

Nothing here is a limit or a bill; it's a pulse check. Usage and limits is where the monthly allowances and their meters live.

Recent fee sheets and recent reports

Two cards, side by side, and between them they're the reason to come here.

Recent fee sheets lists your last few edits across every client — the fee sheet name, the client it belongs to, when you last touched it, and its loan amount. Click a row and you're in the fee sheet, ready to edit. That cuts out the usual route of remembering the borrower's name, opening Clients, finding them, and picking the document. View all opens the full Fee Sheets list when the one you want isn't in the recent few.

Recent reports does the same for reports: the client, the report's title, and when it was last updated. Clicking one opens it in the report builder — the same place you'd go to adjust it and send it again. View all opens the full Reports list, where you can filter by type.

Both cards are honest when they're empty. A new account sees "No fee sheets yet" with a link to add a client, rather than a placeholder pretending there's work in progress.

Recent clients

Below those, your most recently active clients — each with their initials and their property address or city.

"Recently active" means more than "recently edited". A client rises to the top when anything of theirs moves: you edit their record, yes, but also when you add or update one of their fee sheets or reports. That's deliberate — the common case is opening a client to build something, which would otherwise leave them looking untouched. Click through to the client's page for everything of theirs in one place, or All clients for the full list.

Quick start

The last card is three ways to begin, for the mornings that start with something new rather than something half-finished:

  • From an existing clientOpen clients takes you to your client list, where a fee sheet and then a report follow from picking a name.
  • Create a new templateNew template starts a reusable set of closing-cost defaults. If your files usually carry the same fees, this is the one that pays you back every week; see worksheet templates.
  • Create a new fee sheetNew fee sheet asks which client first, in the same picker the keyboard shortcut uses, then opens the new fee sheet flow on that client.

The faster version of all of this

Home is a good landing place, but it isn't the fastest route to anything once you know a borrower's name. Press ⌘K from any screen and type it — clients, fee sheets, reports and templates all match, and the same actions above are one keystroke away. See search and shortcuts.
